Hey all hope you guys are all well!

I'am new here and was wondering if you guys can aid me in deciding whether i should buy the XFX GeForce 8800GTX extreme. i currently have in my system:

-Q6600 'Go stepping'
-ASUS Striker Extreme 680i motherboard
-OCZ 2Gb PC2-6400 memory
-250Gb Western Digitals in Raid (plus an 80Gb hitachi as a backup)
-XFi Fatal1ty FPS sound card
-INNO3D 7950GX2

As you can probably guess, I'am wondering if it would be worth buying two 8800GTX's for sli.. i dont really see the need to upgrade with one 8800GTX because i dont think the performance will increase much were as two 8800GTX's would be definitely worth it, but i dont know lol.. any thoughts?

:EDIT: Iam also thinking of upgrading the RAM but not sure on what RAM to get, because ive got xp i know it can only read/use about 4gig and the mobo can only take upto PC2-64oo (800mhz) RAM -to my knowlege but i might be wrong-

I would only really consider getting more RAM (your current memory is fine) if you planned on using Vista 64bit. If you're sticking with XP then 2gig is perfectly fine.

you might be pleasantly suprised by the performance difference between 7950GX2 and the 8800GTX. You'll find that todays games, at full detail, will perform up to twice as fast on the 8800GTX (provided you run your games at resolutions higher than 1680x1050) GTX's in SLi, will obviously yield even better results.
