Im just wondering, what does it mean when it says its a 512mb card? Would it be worth me getting a 7800GT or this?

Definately get the 7800gt, what little performance the 6600 gains from having the extra ram (if any) over the more standard 256 will be vastly out weighed by the performance gains of the 7800's graphics processing power.

u wont even be able to compare any 6600 with 7800!

a 6600 only have 8 pipelines where as 7800 have 16! 128bit vs 256 !

the 7800 actually has 20 pipelines, the 7800gtx has 24. To give you an idea, 2 x 6600gt's roughly equal a 6800gt, 2 x 6800gt's rougly equal 1 7800gtx i think, so the 7800gt would be far superior

Its a marketing ploy really. Wow look at that card with 512MB ram - it must be good with all that ram, as all the top cards have 512MB. And as proved by yourself, you were swayed to look at it from a 7800GT 256MB which is a far better card.

Get the 7800GT over the 512MB 6600 anyday.

Oh, you do realise both cards are PCI-E & the system in your sig is almost certainly AGP?
