XFX GTX 275

Right just bought this card, had a 2 4870's before.
Long story short i sold them when i was bored and got what i paid for them

But on the weekend i was playing around with drivers etc,
and from what i could see, on some games eg WOW ive lost several FPS,
but the game itself is twice as smooth.

And i came across my far cry 2 bechmarks from back in january..my 275 had slightly more fps than my 2 4870's.

I have to admit im more than happy, this card is a beast, OC'd to 709/1620/1290, Gonna try more when get a better cooler.

Is this somethig i should expect more of from nvidia? Ive always been a ati fan but after these results, im surprised..

I found the same moving from dual 4850's to a single 260 (now have 2).

Lower max and average framerates but better minimum framerates resulting in less choppy gameplay.

Not everyone seems to be affected/or notice but for those that are it's a nice upgrade.

which 1 did u get the vanilla or the xxx ?
