XFX Nvidia 680i LT & E8400

hi guys

was reading that my xfx nvidia 680i LT board needs a different bios for the new wolfdale processors, have found the bios for the EVGA but it tells me that its a different part number altogether.

Any helps?

i tried using the P07 software for it but it didnt work which is weird.

ah found it via xfx website, Doh!

for any one else with the xfx nvidia.

fs now im getting the blue screen of death when trying to load. says im missing a file from windows/system folder.....

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Clear Cmos

Load defaults

Boot into windows

Reboot

Overclock

got it working fine now, one of the ram slots wasnt pushed down 100%.

ive looked at overclocking it, wanted to set it to 4ghz but wasnt sure on the changes with this new bios thing.. its different. need to speak to someone who has a 680i lt MB and a e8400 overclocked.
