XFX Radeon 4870x2 up! who wants one?

hey, ive just noticed overclockers are now selling the xfx radeon 4870x2! but its the price i noticed - £289 + VAT!! thats about £100 cheaper than the cheapest GTX295. Nice

yea! i would defo say so

basically the same price as the 285 aswell. +-£20 or so. excelent bargin anyways. and nice to see a new brand on ati's side =]

i was looking at them yesterday aswell might sell my evga 260gtx and buy myself one wonder if it will run on my corsair 520hx

im not sure it will run on your corsair. buy a new psu and sell yours?? would be worth it with an x2 at that price! i wish i had the money and i would buy another 1 xD i really want a cosmos s case atm tho. need to buy 1 ov them xD

It will run fine on your HX520, I have an OC'd 4870x2 and E8500 @ 4.4Ghz running of my HX520, no problems atall.

Go for it, its an awesome price for an awesome card.

Well the 4870x2 is £333.39 and you can get the 295 for £380 all in.
I would pay the extra £50 and get the 295 it's just a better card in most ways.

They seriously need to bring the 295 price down to around £300 - while I would take one over a 4870X2 any day - you'd be silly to buy one at the current prices even if the X2 didn't exist (unless money is completely no object). Even tho I can afford to buy one its simply not worth the money.

if OCUK had a good deal on the 295 it will fly off shelves faster then anything before, say it was like £350 or close to that, then it would be sold out in a day.

I'd probably buy a 295 if it dropped to £350 - probably... tho its still a stretch.
