Hey guys,

Is it worth me purchasing another XFX Radeon HD 5770 graphics card and running them in CrossFire?

Another XFX Radeon HD 5770 would cost be about £65.00, 2nd hand or would I be better off just selling my XFX Radeon HD 5770 graphics card and getting another graphics card under the £150.00 mark?

I play MW3 and will eventually play BF3.

I bought a second 5770 to run in crossfire in preparation for BF3. The results are very good indeed with fps almost doubling.

As a cheap option I think it's a great upgrade. Try and stick to the same brand, my first card was HIS and the second i bought was Sapphire and the combination didn't seem to gel very well - random slow downs and stuttering etc. Swapped the Sapphire for my brother's HIS card and all these issues disappeared, I also gained around 20 fps in furmark. I think this may be due to different manufacturers using different bios versions on their cards.
