XFX Warranty Changes Question

[WHAT!!!]

I purchased a XFX 7800 GTX Extreme (490 core version) Gamer Last year and this came with a Life Time Warranty.

I have noticed that all XFX Cards being sold at OcUK now have a 2 year warranty.

My question is where do i stand now with my XFX i bought when it had Life Time Warranty, does this still apply ? and was there any main reason behide the change or was it purely for XFX to save money?

Where was the lifetime warranty advertised?

I think their website says lifetime which is applicable to US/Canada only.

Yeh i heard this also USA only for the lifetime warranty,god know`s why.

well, if the gfx card dies anytime within like 6 years id take it back to OCUk tbh its their problem...nowt to do with XFX

Similar thing with Powercolor x1900s, the lifetime guaruntee is only for U.S and then is classed as when they are still producing those cards not actual lifetime of your card. Pretty poor eh , have to read small print on all these sort of things.

Im pretty sure the place i bought from said lifetime warranty in its description (was'nt OcUK it was a competitiver) also when i register my card online it said about my lifetime warranty and that it has 2 x lifetime warranty which means if i was to sell the card on then that next person would get the same warranty.

strange i just tried to log in to my account and its coming up as incorrect login, i definately did register as i wrote down user ID & Password and remember being logged in.

Anyone know if XFX droped the lifetime warranty on there cards for those that bought them with it as i can't log in
