xfx5850 problems

Right i got a xfx5850 from overclockers on thrusday i have had loads of problems with it graphic corruption grey screen with lines going across
black screen on boot.
I have tryed 10.6 drivers and 10.8 both same problems.
Can sumone help me before i send it back

What's the rest of the system specs? What power supply do you have?

Sounds like an RMA to me, I would send it back for a replacement...

Edit:
After sending it back, you may be interested in waiting about a month for the 6000 series as they 'should' offer better value.

rest of specs are hyper type R 730watt psu
gigabyte mobo
AMD x4 955BE
4 gig ddr3 1333
windows 7 ul ed
got this to replace my xfx4870

Stick it in a another system and check before you send it back!!! It does sound faulty though
