XG27UCDMG Power supply cables.

Got this monitor from OCUK today and I am hoping someone can help me with what is actually the issue with the power supply cables. I have already raised a support ticket but help would be appreciated. It came with a EU type power cord about 2m length that can plug into the monitor fine and a rather small UK plug about 80cm in length that does not plug into the monitor. I assume there is an external power brick missing but reading the manual on asus support seems to suggest the power is all internal

Mine also came with the clover type power cable, all you need is a standard UK Kettle Plug power cable.
