Im trying to get XGL working on Ubuntu.
I have the ATI drivers installed (followed guide on ubuntuguide.org) and I followed these instructions to install XGL: http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Xgl-Compiz-Dapper
At the moment I am running the overclocking daddy of 32bit cpu's, the Athlon XP1700+ and a ATI 9800pro along with Ubuntu 6.06 dapper.
The problem is... when I right-click on the Beryl Manager and go to Select Window Manager --> Beryl ... it does not change it and puts it back to "Metacity". The windows on my screen blink a little while it trys to change it, I think something went wrong though.
