xiaomi mi a2 lite word prediction gone wrong

I've been having some really weird issues with my xiaomi mi a2 lite, Firstly the predicted words above the keyboard doesn't match what's shown as text when clicked. It only partly happens and I can't tell why. Good example is when you start typing bec.... And click because it come up with something like became. At first I thought it was me miss clicking but it's definitely not as now I double check.


Any idea on fixes? If not I may do a reset.

I bet lots of Gboard bugs on my Pocophone, might be a Xiaomi thing.

If it's on this here forum then you need to turn formatting off in the text box. It's a known bug for Google keyboard.

Whats the formatting off in the text box mean? Installed another keyboard but this lne doesn't work properly either. Have xiaomi mi a2 lite
