Hi looking to get a half decent cheap phone for my dad.
I am a bit useless with networks etc, can anyone confirm that this phone will work in the UK on Vodafone ?

Also whether they think it is worth £130 ?

Thanks

2G and 3G will be fine, 4G may not as it's missing band 20.

Although I really can't recommend the 4X. For some odd reason Xiaomi decided to pick a SoC that is actually a lower model than the previous Redmi Note 3: https://www.xda-developers.com/xiao...ragon-625-soc-has-hurt-yet-another-successor/

Another comparison: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8580&idPhone2=7863

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is actually more worth the money. But again, the global version lacks band 20 so don't expect good 4G coverage.

What exactly will your dad be using the phone for?

I have the Note 4 Snapdragon Global edition. It has band 20 4g. Cracking phone, you won't get a better for the money.
