Xifi and medusa 5.1 headphones..

Does anyone run a medusa into a xifi? anyone have wiring or setup tips for it?


With my old audigy ZS getting it to work well was tiresome to say the least..

I'm running Medusa headset off a XFi Fatality. Had no problems connecting it up. Plug the green cable into front port on Medusa amp and front port on XFi, black cable into rear port on Medusa amp and rear port on XFi, and orange (IIRC) cable to centre port on Medusa amp and centre on XFi.
Then make sure XFi drivers are set to 5.1 as you may lose some sound if set to 7.1, unless you go for downmix 7.1->5.1. Then obviously mic goes into mic/digital connector on XFi, and there is a setting to choose whether you use mic or digital.
