Just purchased one of these bad boys and installed my machine. Loving the look and tooless connections but I'm having trouble with the fan speed controller.

The way I have them plugged in now, turning the knobs makes the LEDs brighter/dimmer, but the case fans don't spin at all.

Also, the titan fenrir seems to be running really loudly idle, haven't tested under load yet but I'm not sure if this is normal either.

Running it with an AMD phenom 965 BE and asus crosshair IV mobo with OCZ 600W powersupply.

Also a bit off topic but the secondary hard drive doesn't come up in my computer, even though it was an option for the windows install.... any ideas on that one aswell?

Under the BIOS, check that the fan for the CPU is on PWM, I had to do this for my crosshair III.
Start -> right click Computer -> Manage -> Disk management. You need to format the drive by allocating space. That way, you'll be able to see the drive.

yup thats sorted it. One fan appears to be faulty, so I'll sort that out this weekend.

The only other problem I have is the fenrir and top case fan...

Fenrir blows out, case fan pulls in, not good for cooling at all, and they overlap totally.

It would be easiest to turn the fan on the fenrir backwards, but would that be the best solution?

I feel like a fool

Ordered a new fan to replace he faulty one, it arrived today. Unscrewed the old one, went to test it and found it was working.

For some reason or another, being screwed in as tightly as it was by the manufacturer prevented it from spinning....

Top case should really be blowing out of the case, hot air will rise and accumulate at the top otherwise.

Fenrir is best set with fan blowing through.

Never heard of how case fan screws could ever be tight enough to prevent the fan turning.

At least you have a spare fan now anyway.
