Xigmatex

I have a Corsair HX620W that I've had for a while and its been faultless and is quiet in operation, would definitely buy one again if I was building another PC.

The Seasonics are constantly being pushed as the 'Psu of choice' due to good reliability and build quality too. So accordingly my recommendations would be for either of those manufacturers.

I think you would do yourself a big favour and save just that little bit more to get something reliable that will likely last you 5-10yrs than to scrimp on quality and face the chance of having to replace it 2 or 3 yrs down the line. Also consider that you will have a lot of other expensive components hanging off of your psu...

If you are ever planning on doing some overclocking you will want to have a quality supply at the requested volts, not the volts that the PSU thinks you want!

Anyone have any experience with the 700w Xigmatex psu. Seems the other get good reviews online. Planning on running 2 7870 in crossfire

I have the 800w one and the Volts seem perfect and very stable!

Also pretty much silent, tp be honest, I have never heard mine and yet its on the desk (in my case) 40-60cm away from me!

I also purchased a Corsair PSU a few years ago, the older version of the TX850 and can also say it has been faultless. Definitely worth spending a little more on your PSU to make sure you can get the advertised wattage also.
