Never heard of them before, might be worth looking up some review on them, or keeping to the more well known brands.

Also you may want to read the forum rules as you are not aloud to post competitor links.

Welcome to the forums, first thing to point out is that your link is against the rules in the FAQ, you can't link to or advertise competitors of OcUK.

A Corsair VX 450w is probably a better bet but you really need to say what sort of system it will be used for to allow people to help further. :)

Sorry chaps usually use a different forum and ok posting links on there consider hand well and truly SLAPPED!!!!
Just seen a few reviews and all considered not to bad a startin point p.s.u but wanted to ask the pros opinions (creep creep).
Will look at Corsair and another make i heard of was Seasonic????
Currently runnin a PB home comp with the much talked about E2140 and few other bits but needs a good kick up the back side. You can never want to much can you???
Any other advice well apprecated need to start somewhere eh??
:D:D

Seasonic are good, they are the OEM manufacturer for Corsair so essentially if you bought the Corsair you get a rebadged Seasonic with (allegedly) some higher quality parts. Enermax and Tagan are also worth a look as is Akasa at the lower end.

What is your budget here for the upgrade? Someone can probably specify you something suitable.

Also you can edit your own posts to remove the link, 3rd button from the bottom right of your post. :)

Don't touch it, seems to be an old style PSU. It has only got 15A on the 12v rails, while ~30A on the 5v/3v, while modern PSU with that wattage would have 30A on the 12v and 20A on the 5v/3v.

Another vote for the corsair vx 450w.

Thanx for reply probably about £50 for a starter p.s.u.
Have you ever noticed as well when u post on a new forum you always balls up the first time or is that just simple old me?????
Will look some more around again but keep the ideas comin in thick and fast chaps and chappettes ALL help welcome.

Apparently the new models (VX & TX) ARE NOT made by Seasonic. Nevertheless, also getting good reviews :)

OP: Regardless of what you put together you want a good, reputable brand PSU to feed your system. You can work your way up from the bottom in the sense of Watts but even what semi-pro waster has mentioned is very capable. If you want to know if buying something cheap & useless, always look at the +12V Rail/s should be (combined) 30A or more...

Thanx again for the replys looks like the corsair wins it off to the shops i go!
Hi Ho Hi Ho etc.
:p:p:p

Seasonic are widely touted as being the best PSU manufacturer but they are expensive. Corsair (made be seasonic) are more affordable and offer similar quality.
