Hi folks,

Moving to a new address and wanting suggestions for the best ISP in London.

We are currently with Sky and its ****, some days we get 0.5 mb.

Mainly used for gaming and NAS server, watching films etc.

I don't mind if its more expensive:-)

We looked at Xilo. Does anyone know what these are like or have any suggestions forms top notch ISP? That doesn't bottleneck at peak times?

Cheers

before i moved to an area with fibre, my previous address was standard adsl up to 8 meg.
i was with xilo then, and they was superb.
tickets where reponded to very quickly, and the service was great throughout the 2 years i was with them.
i rate them on par with zen ( i was with zen before xilo but xilo was cheaper ;) )

Thanks :)

Here is a screenie.

lol three different suggestions, hmmm hasn't made it any easier lol

Which ones do not bottleneck?

Is Xilo or Zen better than the above and are they an option for me where I am?

Cheers

I'm currently with Xilo and they are great. I'm on the Elite 16 which is an O2(Be) Wholesale package and it's been really good.

If you can definitely order FTTC that's what I would go for. Plusnet look the best or otherwise BT.
What does the checker say? https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

Xilo's FTTC offerings are currently to limited/expensive.

I use Xilo, they use talk-talk's LLU network but their support is nothing short of fantastic.

I've never really notice any slowdown.

You have to take a phoneline from Xilo too.

You don't have to take a phoneline with Xilo at all - it all depends on which package/option you choose and there are ones both with and without the requirement to take a phoneline

You will need a BT line installed. Plusnet offer Line rental and FTTC in a package.
