hey guys,

Looking to get a keyboard and mouse hooked up to Xbox to whip my wee bros into shape at cod. Was looking at getting one of either the XIM Edge or XIM3.

Anyone got any recommendations?
Has anyone used either before? and have there been any problems?

I already play on the PC with mouse n keyboard, but i just refuse to use a control pad. It's ridiculously bad for FPS after you have been using a Mouse and Keyboard for years.

no, i want to play against my wee bros since they won't come the other way. Im not looking to cheat in any way, although saying its an unfair advantage may seem that. but its just what ever you prefer eh?

Wouldn't happy to know any aimbots, the group we play with wouldn't allow it in any of the cod games we have played over the years. The big disappointment of this years cod is that we don't have our own server to monitor and kick/ban cheats.

lol everyones entitled to their own opinion, I just stated we wouldn't want anyone playing with wallhacks/aimbots etc.

Ruffneck, it would be the same as the only thing you are changing is the input device, your not using any software to glitch and gain advantage?

to be honest, I don't think changing hardware/input device is gaining any sort of advantage compared to actual software glitches. It's just what each user is used to at the end of the day. people going from pad to mouse n keyboard would find it hard, as i find it hard going the opposite way.
 
btw, this wasn't a post about cheating? I was just asking if anyone had used one before and if so, were there any problems or recommendations on which i should choose?

yeah i get that from the replies ha! was just asking if anyone has any experience of the hardware.

Ack i might just do it with a control pad, just thought using the same kepyboard and mouse for it would be simples as i wouldnt have to move when going from PC to Xbox for gaming :P

well for your smart arse comment, you would be assuming wrong. I haven't actually played it on Xbox yet, the only game played on the xbox by me is fifa.
