XIM2 or 3 for xbox 360

Either way, the person calling wall hacks may have the flavour of the cheat wrong, but he is correct that they are not playing fairly. Hardware or software - a hack is a hack and it is cheating.

No I quite agree with you'r point, the guy in the vid is using a xim setup therefore has a huge advantage over the others but, it's always the case of the other player who doen't do as well to throw up the wall hack comment.

I had a message 4 days ago from a user who said that I was using a predictive care package drop cheat and that his mate who is an XBL moderater had a laptop hooked up to a Jtag xbox (He quite clearly had no idea what he was on about) and was in that lobby, Had detected that I was using as forementioned cheat which I wasn't, I don't think there is such a thing. He went on to say congradulations I am about to lose my account etc. etc. The only reason he sent this was becuase I went 35-5 on TDM but my team of randoms still lost.

Everytime the enemy team dropped a carepackage I stormed in there shot them all and stole it, it was quite ammusing, I also stole there entire EAD. After I had this message I made a point of joining session in progress everytime and doing it over and over again thier clan (as he put it) were absoultely rubbish. I had to have had 6 reports from that match alone then the 3 following matches also

Any PC device is capable of being converted and I think the guy who design it will focus on other stuff once its released. He can just update the config. So even track IR would be possible I think I've seen him say.

People class it as cheating because the games are made with the controller in mind. A controller is no where near as precise as a mouse so to compensate they give us bigger hit boxes and aim assist, so when those are used with a mouse you can see why people have a problem with it.
 
yea i cant wait for xim3, im gonna pwn so much face in halo reach and blackops its not gonna be even funny. I'll be like pew pew get crazy kill streaks and feel so good. And the fame i will get for being zomg leet and ofc i will pretend i use a controller.

(really i will be getting one :)).

also on a another note, is it cheating if u use an arcade stick in a fighting game or a steering wheel in a racing game vs someone else who is using a controller. Granted they also have access to a stick or racing game if they just walk into their nearest console store. But people can also order a xim2/3 off the net.

Is it cheating?

No, it's clearly not.

The best track times are set using a pad and a pad player won HDR at EVO this year iirc. Everything possible on an arcade stick is possible on a pad, and the games are designed with these peripherals in mind.

Using a XIM is clearly cheating. It offers a massive unfair advantage so even pretty incompetent players can do very well against the pad players, and console FPS games clearly aren't designed with a mouse in mind, especially CoD, with their massive amounts of auto aim.

Depends on the game F1 2010 has clearly been built around a wheel, the wheel is much much faster than a pad. After days of playing I beat my pad time within 5 laps on the wheel.

Of course not, the games are designed to support them. The XIM is entirely cheating though.

With the XIMs you get the advantage of mouse and keyboard accuracy (a massive advantage in control over pads), and snap aiming.

I'm 100% sure that if they were detectable, they'd be banned outright.
