Does anyone know if there's a way to retap a oil drain plug, I think when tightening it the thread might have been damaged, the bolt is in but I think it's damaged.
The bolt tightens then spins again but not as tight as it should be. Just saw a video of a guy doing a fix on a hayabusa and looks like it can be done by hand with a heli-coil so will probably look into that.
I took it into a local garage and they re-tapped it and fitted a larger bolt and only cost me £30 so now happy again, might give it a clean this weekend to celebrate
