HI everyone, i am modding my case atm (coolermaster haf 932) and was reading abou the EVGA X58 4 way sli - and this beast isn't E-atx it's XL-atx and i can't find anywhere with information about it. From their diagram it says 13.5" * 10.3 is the 13.5 " its length downwards? also does anybody have a guide for where to drill motherboard riser holes? thanks

If you're looking at the new EVGA board, then I guess you want to go for 4-way SLI. If you're wanting to go for 4-way SLI, you'll need at least 8 expansion slots on the back (EVGA say 10), and the HAF only has 7.

So I wouldn't even bother trying to mod it, unless you're willing to cut new PCI expansion slots on the back (which probably isn't possible, and looking at the back, there's only room for 1 more really).

Lack of information is quite natural because it isn't any standard but just something they "digged up from their rear" and stamped with name.

(amazing how much they've bloated that board for it still having normal seven slots of ATX standard)

I know there is only 7 slots - but as my case is in peices strewn across my house at various stages of modding i thought I may aswell acomodte for what will hopefully be my future motherboard. As i'm mounting 2 psus elsewhere it frees up the whole bottom of the case so there is at least room for another 4 - which should give me a nice 11 :) i will strip them off an old case. So that isn't a problem, i just wanted to know how low the board would hang, is it 13.5" from where the moptherboard starts at the top?
thanks
