Hi all,

I’m just having a clear out and have a computer that used to run my racing sim. It’s been in a box for a couple years I never got around to selling it back then.

Item********* Gaming Desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4GHz, 64GB DDR4 RGB, 4TB HDD, 1TB SSD M.2, ROG STRIX RTX 3090 24GB OC, WIFI, Windows 10 Home

This was the spec when I got it originally. I’ve not been in the PC world for quite some time now.

Would this still be any use for basic gaming or anything? Or not really worth much now a days?

I’m currently doing years of updates so haven’t managed to play around with it yet!

You could pop an x3d chip in there for better gaming performance. Otherwise still a good platform you have. I swapped my 3900x for a 5700x3d and noticed significant gains in all games I play.

It'll struggle with Minecraft, I'll take it off your hands for free, so you don't have to pay the recycling fee. :D

Wtf is your current rig if that’s what you have sat in a box gathering dust :p
I’ve stopped gaming! So no need for it. I’ll list it in the for sale section eventually once I can work out a value.

Doesn’t seem easy to price. I’ve finally managed to clear it and install a fresh copy of windows 11. So that’s something

There is a price check section that you could post under and get others opinions what what its worth if you are unsure

Awesome computer, given it was top of the line when purchased I would argue it’s still way more powerful than most people’s machines.
