Xmas game, CoD 4, CoD:WAW or L4D ?

Been out of the PC gaming scene a while and recently got a new rig couple months back.

Anyway, interested in getting back into online gaming, and as such which do the OcUK community think is the best online game between:

CoD 4
CoD:WaW
L4D

Have played CoD4 MP on Xbox 360 however haven't completed SP, so still a viable option.
Just looking for opinions...
Is CoD:WaW as good in your opinion as CoD 4? Xfire still rates CoD 4 as more popular. :S

I'd drop WaW from the list and pick from the other two.
Personally I'd go for CoD4, more immense imo, but l4d is good too ( only played the demo myself though).

Same situation for me mate, went for cod4 for 14.99 delivered.. bargin! Got Left 4 Dead for christmas and i got the orange box through steam for tf2!

Between Cod4 and Waw just depends whether you like wwII guns or modern guns. Cod4 is a bargain nowadays though so it is probably better value than l4d.

well its called opinion, nothing to fix there. I liked Cod:WaW's campaign, multiplayer, setting, atmosphere more than cod4. lef4deaed although a great game dont think it can compare to cod4 or cod:waw until some new content comes out.
