Xmas Upgrade

Hi all,

I am looking to buy the following upgrades for my current system(below) and could anyone tell me if there is any general advice for and against the upgrade parts.

Current System:
AMD X2 3800
2Gb PC2100 DRR
ASUS A8N Deluxe SLI
500Watt PSU
SATA II 160Gb
Radeon x1950 Pro 256Mb

Upgrades
OCZ 2GB Kit DDR2 PC2-6400
DFI Infinity 975X/G SKT775 DDR2 Crossfire 8channel audio
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz 1066MHz) Socket 775 L2 8MB Cache
PowerColor X1950Pro AC2 256MB DDR3 256bit PCI-E (run in crossfire mode)

Couple of questions though:

1. Quad core or Dual Core
2. DX 9 Crossfire 1950s or DX10 Card,

I have been out of the loop for a while, also having an AMD im kinda new to the intel side of things.

brilliant, thanks the response. I do have a budget but you have hit it on the head with that basket!

I would like to get a 19" widescreen also, but may have to wait.
