Do I turn this on to get the best from TeamGroupe 2400ram.

You can or put the settings in manually if you are going to overclock your CPU.

Yep, you can go ahead and enable xmp.

Be aware though that setting the xmp profile for the memory will in some cases also overclock your processor.

So might be worth running cpu-z once in windows to check what everything is running at.

does it? Isn't the memory clock speed asynchronous with the CPU bus speed ? I thought the days of synchronous memory is long gone.

Iv got the team group 2400 rams, oc built my machine and my CPU is oc to 4.3 ghz, the ram default is set on 2133 on my msi gaming G45 motherboard, I will switch the xmp on later today and let you know how stable it is running 2400

I changed my ram speed in bios to 2400 and switched on xmp, now my motherboard bios won't even boot up, hahaha Iv just messaged overclockers for help
