Not sure if this is the correct sub forum.
But being a complete noob at OC'ing in general thought I would post here. Done some reading up and some Youtubing on it. But my 3200Mhz gets stuck at 2133Mhz and XMP doesn't work. I am on the latest BIOS.
So full details are :
X570 F11
Ryzen 5 3600
Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB PRO Black, PC4-25600 (3200), Non-ECC Unbuff, CAS 16-18-18-36
When enabling XMP it does not boot. Constant BSOD or just restarts.
Tried playing with DRAM calculator but not really knowing what any of the value and things were felt a bit dangerous. Tried using Thaiphoon to import the settings into DRAM calc. Used this info to manually enter timings. Still no go.
Eventually I found something on the gigabyte forums that you have to set xmp high frequency profile. There are 3 apparently the profile 1 is for 3200Mhz profile 2 is for 3400Mhz and profile 3 is for 3600Mhz.
Setting this to profile 1, changing the multiplier to 30 or 31.33 and setting the voltage to 1.35 is the only way I can get the system to boot.
Only other thing I have not tried which people seem to have some success with is changing the 5th or 6th timing to something higher. I think XMP sets it to 54 and it should be 56-58 or something like that.
Any ideas ?
