Hi,

I built a new pc a couple of weeks back and I bought this RAM to go in this motherboard

All runs well and I have managed to OC my 6600k quite a bit but my ram doesn't seem to want to run any higher than 1600mhz, I've updated to the latest bios and the speed did show in the bios as 2666mhz for 1 boot but in windows it shows as 1600 again and the same in the bios,

Here's a screenshot of my bios memory page, any help appreciated

Thanks

Not yet, I didn't want to mess around with ram timings too much, are there recommended settings for 2666 ddr4? I'm not fussed about an overclock, I just want to get what they are capable of

Going by the ad on ocuk: 2666MHz RAM Speed, CAS 16-18-18-35 Timings, 1.20-1.35v

does setting the profile to xmp increase the voltage too? I'd check its running at 1.35v

There is auto and profile 1 as options, I'm at work at the moment so can't try anything but I will try setting everything manually when I get home at about 6

I can set the multiplier manually to 26.66 and I'm now running at 2666,

My voltage is still at 1.20 for now, should I try to up it to 1.34? I can only go up in increments of 0.02, or should I test for stability at this voltage first?

*edit* Actually, looking at my XMP profile on CPU-Z the voltage should only be 1.2 for 2666 anyway,

Thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated.
