XMP profile benefits in VM/Server

will the XMP profiles for memory 128gb (DDR4 3600) be any benefit in an intel i9 build thats primary use is virtual machines. should i use at the motherboards stock value or go for the XMP profiles. stability is more important than speed.

Always use xmp if stable.

If stability is more important than speed then just run at stock for the i9. If the VMs are operating fine then there's no need to go higher.
