XMP profile from different memory kit

I had a 64gb 6000 CL30 kit in my ASUS Strix B850-E motherboard and swapped it out for a 64GB 5600 cl40 kit. I have a 9950X3D in there so I wasn't too worried about RAM speed and thought I'd maybe be able to get 6000 CL36.

I didn't reset the CMOS before swapping and the system booted up with the faster memories profile and is completely stable. I've done memtest, prime 95 and gaming on it. So I'm delighted.

Just wondering how best to ensure I can keep this profile? I'm worried even If I save current settings to the BIOS if I ever need to clear CMOS that saved profile might just load EXPO. Am I likely to have to go in and take a note of all the timings and enter them manually?
Or is there a way to write over one of the memory profiles on the slower kit with the faster settings?
Thanks
Scott

Some boards let you save the profile to a USB stick, normally profiles aren't wiped by a CMOS reset though occasionally BIOS updates might clear them out. You can use an SPD programmer either hardware or software to edit the RAM profiles but I don't recommend it (some modules are write protected as well which requires external EEPROM hacking).

Some boards allow you to save screen shots to a USB stick so this could be another way to make a note of the details without having to write it all down somewhere.

I still have the faster kit so that's a good shout I could try putting it on a memory stick and if it doesn't work I can copy the settings from the faster kit.

I've got an asrock board with very basic looking 4800 kit that also does 6000 cl30 I've been putting off updating the bios because it took me ages to get the memory set I forgot about being able to save the settings to a stick so I'll do that one too.
