I currently have this: http://www.corsair.com/memory/amd-memory-solutions/phenom-ii/tw3x4g1333c9dhx.html

and I've just ordered this: http://www.corsair.com/memory/xms-classic/xms3-ddr3-memory/tw3x4g1333c9a.html

Will they be compatible with each other and with my motherboard?http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3417#ov

Both sets of RAM are 2x2GB, 1333MHz, have a latency 9-9-9-24 and a voltage of 1.5v.
The only difference seems to be that this http://www.corsair.com/memory/amd-memory-solutions/phenom-ii/tw3x4g1333c9dhx.html has Dual-path heat exchange (DHX).

I'm wondering if I'm going to have any problems with these two slightly different models and whether I would be a lot better off getting another http://www.corsair.com/memory/amd-memory-solutions/phenom-ii/tw3x4g1333c9dhx.html which costs more.

Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as they're running on the same speed, timings and voltages, then it should be fine. Possible chance you might have to slightly increase the voltages though as it will stress the memory controller more.

Thanks Orcvader.

How will I know if I need to do this or not? Is it fairly straight forward to change the voltages? Is it done in BIOS? I really have no idea.

You'll know you likely need to increase the voltage if the PC won't boot or you encounter instability problems.

The voltage is changed in the BIOS.
