hi can i overclock this memoryCorsair XMS3 6gb DDR3 1600mhz i have a gigabyte p67 board and a i5 2500k overclocked to 4.6

the bundle that i got came with the motherboard i5 2500k and 4gb of that memory but i though i would get another 4gb of memory but i can only get one stick of 2gb memory because the cooler is stopping me from putting the other 2gb of memory in so i just put the extra 2gb of memory in

the cooler is a akasa unlock venom motherbord is a gigabyte p67ud4 i have been in to the cpu-z in memory but i dont see channel #

it dose not say single or double i have not taken the cool of as i an not sure how to take it of

hi i got the fan off and i have all 8gb on the board now thanks
