XMS3 Upgrade

Hi guys,

I currently have Corsair XMS3 2x4GB on an ASUS P8P67 Rev.xx1.

I am using about 70% of my RAM's capacity ATM whilst streaming. Would it benefit me to upgrade to 2x8GB (I can't use 4x4GB as the CPU dan is too large, and stuck)?

I was thinking of buying either the XMS3 8GB pair OR:

Corsair CML16GX3M2A1600C9

Any hellp would be appreciated.

Depending on what your use the system for just buy the cheapest 1600mhz+ ram you can find.
Yours always better to run 2x8gb then 1x16gb as you get dual channel mode and this give a little performance boost.

But again buy what's cheap. Ddr3 is at end of life now and I wouldn't want to spend a lot on ram even if you plan on keeps it for another 10 years
