XMS3 Voltage?

Hi all I have 2x2gb of xms3 i set the timings in the bios at 9.9.9.24 and voltage at 1.65 as printed on the side label. i just noticed on the product page on ocuk that it says use "use sub 1.60v" and on Corsair website it says tested voltage 1.65v and SPD voltage of 1.5v. So what should I have it set too? I havn't had any problems with it but just wanted to make sure I have it correct.

I set mine at 1.5v and it's fine, many seem to be ok at 1.4 but I can't be bothered messing around too much.

I think it was recommended to use 1.5v when it looked there might be problems when overclocking chips. I'm not sure that is really as much of a problem as originally made out.

Ok so should I change it to 1.5v then or just leave it at 1.65v?

I would change it to 1.5v and check quickly for stability. I haven't heard of anyone not being able to run it at this and it will probably go lower but not really worth spending time on IMO.

What MoBo are you using? If it's a Sandybridge one you should go 1.5v or lower.

Gibbo and crew have tested that ram and find it will operater within 1.45 and 1.55 no problem. So you should be fine.

It is an MSI P67A-GD65

I have changed it to 1.5v, can't see any performance difference, not sure how to test it though tbh, just ran intelburntest for an hour then OCCT for an hour without problem though.

Do some hci memtest runs. Seems to fail quicker than memtest86.
