I saw this memory for a great price in the "this week only" section. Was wondering if anyone's bought it yet, and if so, is it TCCD chips? I think the 4.1 revision was TCCD but i'm not sure...

If someone could check for me it's much appreciated.

For those who care - I got a reply to my web note saying these modules are v5.2 and _not_ TCCD.

according to corsair forums this is

TWINX1024-3200C2PT XMS3202 v5.2 = Promos -5 Rev A
CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3202 v5.2 = Promos -5 Rev A

which i have never heard of before.... :p

I had some v4.1 which weren't the best TCCD in the world. Did about 250Mhz max. I think they may have been early production modules because other v4.1 i saw wern't any better.

As you say geil or gskill are your best bet, or get some corsair PC4400

there is some Geil one BH-5 in clearence section :)

Thanks, I looked round the clearance items and found some OCZ 3200 platinum rev 2 - which is TCCD - for 80 quid, so I got that.

I like BH5 but my new Epox board won't give more than 3.2V. I guess I could have done a volt mod, but now I got some lovely low power chips so why bother :)
