XO cognac

I've had a few bottles of VSOP cognac but they've not been quite the same as a bottle of XO courvoisier I had in 2003....so what would be a decent bottle of XO at a reasonable price?

I've only ever had Remy Martin and Courvoisier so no expert....I just know I enjoy a glass of decent brandy

Depends what you consider reasonable, you get what you pay for.

Frapin XO is a nice tipple, it'll run you about £120-130

Other than that, Hennesy, Remy Martin, Couvoursier, Martell. I've never had a bad cognac from any of them.

I got my mum a bottle of Hennessey XO a few years ago, but the price of this seems to have risen somewhat since then, seems like TWE are low on supplies.

I was thinking around £60 would be my limit....looking, I might still be thinking in 2003 prices

Bache Gabrielsen XO is really good. I'd go as far to say I prefer it to Hennessey.

I'm collecting the Bache Gabrielsen XO from Whisky Exchange on Wednesday. Only pence above £60 too. Perfect.
