Simple question, something that's a minor annoyance. At the moment I have my Xonar D1 set up absolutely fine with my speakers. I can plug my headphones in to the front panel on my case, but I need to open the Xonar D1 Audio Center and change the output from '5.1 Speakers' to 'FP Headphone' for audio to come through my headphones.
Is there a way to get the soundcard to recognise when I plug headphones in and change the audio output automatically? Or at the very least bring up a dialogue or something saying it's detected headphones and ask me if I want to switch output source?

p.s. I don't want to have to plug headphones in at the back of the pc, it's a pain in the ass to get to.
