Hi all,
I've got an Asus Xonar D2 sound card which I've had for a few years with no problems. Yesterday I was messing about inside the machine changing HDs, then when I came back into Windows I'd been switched back to my mobo's onboard sound. The Xonar wasn't in the Device Manager list at all. Nor did it appear when I went into the bios and disabled on the board sound.
I opened up the case again - the card does seem to be firmly seated and the lights indicating which socket is which do come on when the machine is turned on, so it's at least getting power and presumably is in right. Anybody have any ideas?
Cheers,
MD
