Hi there. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have my Sennheiser HD580s plugged into my Xonar D2 however every now and again the channels become reversed.
The headphones are plugged in fine, I do have them on the correct way :p but 90% of the time it's fine, sounds from the left come from the left headphone and vice-versa however every now and again it gets reversed. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on what it could be.

Cheers

Edit ... Just sorted itself, didn't do anything obvious. How very odd.

Newest drivers? Have you tried a different media player?

I think I have the latest drivers aye, it seem to do it in games as well, it'll be fine after a restart of Windows 7, then I'll say start playing Cod4 or any other type of game and I'll slowly realise that the sounds are reversed. Upon exiting the game and using the windows and Asus speaker test it'll play the sounds reversed. The left channel will come from the right speaker and vice versa.

I'll have another look for the drivers though.

Have you got any unnecessary background software installed? Something that could be conflicting?

I don't think so. Not got anything that could affect it, it only seems to happen every now and again but it's annoying :)
