Xonar D2X 'Issues'

Hi all,

I've recently bought an Asus Xonar D2X and when playing music it sounds like the volume is adjusting itself every few seconds and causing a (very slight but I can still pick up on it!) 'warbling' type effect...sometimes going quite loud and then dropping itself back down again

I can confirm that SVM is switched off...it happens in all media players and in all the different modes

Currently running it on Vista x64

Does anybody have any ideas? Or is this something really obvious?

I reset everything and either it's ok now or I've just got used to it

Was certainly never a problem with the X-Fi that it replaced, however I'm sure it'll be fine

Do the latest beta drivers support EAX3/4/5 yet? I tried to enable EAX4 in Medieval Total War 2 and it just gave me errors?
