Xonar D2X line in delay

Hi all,

Managed to get the Xonar all setup, going via Coax to my speaker! However, I have PODXT guitar thingy, which is connected to the line in on the Xonar. When I play, there is a 1 second delay between hitting a note and hearing it. I know it's not the POD - any ideas what it could be?

Have you installed the latest drivers to see if that cures the problem?

sounds silly but try changing the sampling frequency to 192khz.

i found a delay with my d2's lineout that wasnt there with the digital out, this disappeared as you increased the sampling frequency. why i dont know, but it could apply to the line in as well. give it a go, anyway

Found it, but for some reason when i choose PCM, it doesn't output anything....? Dolby Digital and DTS are fine though...?!?!?

EDIT: looks like the amp can't accept 192 - however, there's stuill a delay even when set to 96KHz

OK, quick update - got the 192 working, but there is STILL a delay.

This card is going back, and have ordered the X-Fi Elite Pro instead. Very ****ed off with the xonar D2X, and the support is non-existant.

No swearing
