Xonar DX - DSP Modes not working

Say I want to enable the Music DSP mode, I still only get audio from the left and right channel, nothing from the centre channel.

Audio Channel - 2 channels
Sample Rate - 96KHz
Analog Out - 5.1 Speakers

The modes do nothing

Any help peeps?

Maybe because you have it set at 2 channels?

No, that is the idea, it is supposed to "Upscale" 2 channels.

Windows is set to 6 channel output and speakers test OK.

Setting anything above 44.1kHz as a samplerate both in Windows and the Xonar driver panel causes the DSP settings to not work apparently.

Tbh though, personally I wouldn't bother with the DSP settings in the first place but I like my audio pure.

Setting back to 44.1khz will most likely solve your issue although degrade your quality if you are on Vista or 7.

You are spot on.

I will stick with 96Khz and forego the DSP Settings. I have a pair of Z5500 so can do it with them if needed.

I assume the GX feature is not affected?
