See that this is a good price for today only, im currently running a dgx with goldring 1000s with the Phoebus be a good upgrade for me or is it not worth the extra?

Yes m8 I got one a few weeks again also had the dgx was blown away by the Xonar Phoebus.

The general feedback is that there's no complain about the components or hardware of the card, but when it comes to driver, it hit or miss that you'd probably have to prepare yourself with the "hold your breath and dive in hope it would be ok" attitude...

Worst come to worst, you could still send it back under DSR if you can't get driver issues sort. With OcUK I believe you'd have 14 days for return under DSR period.

Like I said it "hit or miss", not "miss or miss"

Even with my Xonar DX, I have issues...8 out of 10 times it's totally fine, 1 out of the 10 times the driver not assigning the audio to the right channel thus no sound, and 1 out of 10 times it would output a loud ear-busting cruckle/white noise. The two issues I mention would require rebooting 1 or sometimes 2 times in order to fix or the driver to sort itself out.

Well the dgx has had no real problems, although that is budget range maybe its time my goldrings got something they can enjoy
