Text speak! Kisses and hugs!

Seriously though, girls can text this whenever and to whoever I reckon. But what's your opinion of guys using this or something similar to sign off.

Fortunately, none of my male friends do this. I really wouldn't care though, it's not like a couple of "xx" will make me dislike them.

I reply to most girls with "xx" or whatever, and one or two guys with longstanding jokes, often adding "much love" or "hugs and kisses".

I sign texts with a x to women I can see something happening with.

I send x to a lot of guys too. Its clearly gay.

Really?? I have to say I only sign them with an 'x' to close female friends, perhaps on very rare occasions to close male friends. Mainly because I wouldn't want to text kisses to a guy and have him take it the wrong way.

A guy I wasn't with and barely knew once ended his text to me with a kiss and I remember thinking it was weird :p

If a bloke does it to a non female then they are, in honour of the forthcoming 3rd series of The Inbetweeners, a

bumder

:p

Girls bloody text this to everybody, and most guys then misread it. There should be some sort of treaty where the use of it is standardised.
