I have an old Athlon XP3000+ Barton CPU
I'm trying to find out if it is FSB 333 or 400Mhz as I've seen them specced as both.
Here is what is on the chip:
AXDA3000DKV4D 2314883260363
AQZEA 0331SPMW

Can someone translate these codes please!??
I am planning to fit it into a system that currently has an XP2700 in atm.

Only 200MHz / 400MHz chip produced on the XP line was the XP3200 Barton chip.

That doesn't mean the XP3000 won't run at that speed, however. :)

There is/was a Barton xp 3000 with 400 fsb, trust me I know, my current board only has 333 fsb and will take the 333/3000 but not the 400/3000.

I put a 400 rated XP 3200+ in my MSI K7N2G (only rated at 333). It was fine at first but it deteriorated quickly and in the end it was an utter disaster. Couldn't even make it through one 3DMark05 run and gaming was nigh on impossible. By the time I put it to bed I was underclocking to XP 2500+ speeds and even that wasn't stable.

According to the code.
(http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/AMD-Athlon XP 3000+ - AXDA3000DKV4D.html)

its a 333 part.
(13multiplier x 166.66mhz = 2167Mhz actual core clock)

I did see that but my stepping isn't on there.

I found it here:

http://www.amd.com/gb-uk/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_1260_3734^11672,00.html

But looking at this it's 400mhz??

From what I see the 3000 was available in both 333 and 400mhz? But I'd just like to find out with one this is?
