XP Account Password reset

Hi All,

My colleague wants to reset an old password on one of his XP accounts on his home PC as he doesnt know what the password is now, and he was going to buy some form of software on a auction site.

Is there an easier way or software available on the net where you can get into an xp account without the password, or it resets the password?

Type:

net user <username> <password>

from a CMD prompt, replace username with username and password with the new password

Yeah, its that easy!

And if he doesn't know any passwords for any accounts on the machine download OPHCrack which runs from the CD.

if its xp home then youll be able to just go into safe mode then go on the administrator account to delete the password (on xp home you cant put a password on the administrator account)
