hey all,

I have a machine with only one account (administrator) which loads stright to the desktop as admin doesn't have a password (nice)

I have since made another account on the machine (bootleger) which i now don't need, and i wish for the machine to load stright to the administrator desktop again.

My question is this, since the logon page only has bootleger account as an option to logon to how do i logon to the admin account to delete bootleger?????

please help as i'm here till about 8.30ish and i need to get it sorted.

cheers in advance!!!

whilst at the logon screen, hold down ctrl-alt and tap del twice. this will bring up the classic windows logon where you can type in the username. :)

ok,

to answer my own question,

On the logon (welcome) screen preee ctrl-alt-delete twice allows you to put in the administrator name and password. ;)

I now have the problem that it won't let me delete the old account bootleger (which is also admin)

I have tried logging in as bootleger and changing the account type but no go. :(

any ideas????

no i'm gonna try now.

thing is there is no option to delete in the user control manual.

I hope this works as i'm going home in a bit and i'll have to try and do i remotly.

I'll let you know how it goes.

cheers
