XP advice

Hi all,

im running XP Home on my PC and have been thinking of upgrading to Vista, my mums laptop has just had its HDD replaced and i was going to put XP back on her machine. However, i cant find my XP disk anywhere!!

Does anyone know if i can contact microsoft and get a replacement disk seeing as ive already got 2 XP serial keys? or am i going to have to fork out another £50?

Just copy all the XP files across to a disc, and burn them to the disc. As long as you have the activation key, all will be fine

As long as you still have the serial numbers and packaging MS should be able to issue a replacement.

Should be a contact number on the packaging/paperwork that came with your disk.
