So with my vista problems Iam going back to what I originially wanted to do and that was dual boot it.
Question is how shold i set up my hard-drives....I have 2TB made up of 4x500gb available to me, would raid0+1 be the best?
also with dual booting does that mean I would only have 500gb each for each OS and stuff? If thats a case should I just ahve raid0 each for vista and XP?
I do have a 5th hard-drive that I will bung into an external case but thats only a 120gb IDE thingy so (for me) will be more than enough for external.

bump.

so been thinking
raid0 for XP-main use
and 2nd raid0 for vista?
would this work or would all the hard-drives need to be connected togeather?

also take it for vista (and xp, but thats less fussy) i would need ot trail each hardware componants website for the latest drivers.

bump
any suggestion?
i would do something like asign 100gb for xp and 100gb for vista, leaving 800gb shared....would then both systems be able to read whats on the shared 800gb partition?

gah....so confused on how to set it all up.....
