Does anyone have both sytems on the same computer ?

So if I build a system and install vista 64 on harddrive 1 then plug my old hard drive which is running xp 32 into the same computer and change the bios to boot from harddrive 2 I should then have xp !

Would that work ?

That should work perfectly.

On my other PC I have my 200GB partitioned (100x2), first half with XP and second half with Vista... the Vista installation did all the boot menus etc. properly for me.

Yes it will be fine. Currently i have XP on one drive and Vista on the other. You can select with OS to load at startup

I just installed each one while the other harddisk was plugged out.

That way I don't have the XP boot menu - I just use the boot menu in the bios, F8 on my p5b delux. Alls good.

as said yes it works fine and install xp first and make 2 partitions and then install vista and you should be good to go.
