It definately doesnt work when copying files from sp2 to sp3, were you copying from xp3 to xp3?

"Don't use it" would have probably been my advice from the start anyway, I'm always reluctant to just allow an automated dump of files and settings from one machine to another.

I have never used the XP Files and Settings Transfer Tool. I haven't got any faith in these sort of things from MS. Take control, do it manually!

In this day and age we shouldnt need to do it manually!
